Endeksin Özünde Ne Yatar?
Endeks, finansal varlıkların değerindeki oransal değişimi gösteren bir ölçüttür. Basitçe söylemek gerekirse, belli bir grup hisse senedinin genel performansını veya fiyat hareketlerini takip etmek için kullanılır. Bu hesaplama üç temel aşamadan oluşur: Öncelikle endeks kapsamındaki hisse senetleri belirlenir, sonra bunların portföydeki ağırlıkları tayin edilir ve nihayet bu ağırlıklara göre portföyün toplam değeri hesaplanır.
